Hope & Heal is a compassionate web platform designed to support breast cancer patients through their journey. The application provides a safe space for patients to share their inspiring stories, connect with others facing similar challenges, and receive doctor-verified medical advice. Built with React and powered by Express.js with MongoDB, the platform also facilitates donations to help patients in need. Hope & Heal combines community support with verified medical information, creating a comprehensive ecosystem of care and encouragement for breast cancer patients and their families.
The Story
Background
I participated in an online hackathon called Pinktober. The hackathon's problematic was to find a solution that helps and supports people who have breast cancer. Our team created Hope & Heal to provide a comprehensive support platform for patients and their families.
